Workshop with the “Uzcosmos” Agency as part of UniSat Stage 3

UniSat participants met with “Uzcosmos” Agency specialist Jahongir Karimov. The meeting format was a hands-on workshop, where the girls had a unique opportunity to ask questions and discuss relevant topics:

🌍 use of satellite imagery

⛰ geology and legislation in the field of space research

🤝 “Uzcosmos” projects with international partners and government agencies of Uzbekistan

Special attention was given to issues of mineral reserves in Uzbekistan, measures to preserve ecology, and agricultural security.

✨ In addition, the participants prepared their CubeSats for flight — they are already awaiting transportation to the launch site. Meanwhile, the capsules with payloads remain under refinement in the UniSat laboratory, which the girls themselves equipped at AUT.
